La Marzocco Home has added a new coffee machine, the Linea Micra to its range, which is a scaled down version of the current home machine, the Linea Mini.

Each machine is handmade in Florence, and bench tested in Australia prior to release, re-designed for home use incorporating many of the same parts and materials as its commercial machines.

“The Linea Micra brings La Marzocco’s industry reputation to homes of all shapes and sizes, due to its small footprint,” La Marzocco Australia, technical manager, Justin Emerson said.

“The Linea Micra allows users to embrace their inner barista with its café-style performance and features, such as a dual boiler system, allowing temperature control over espresso brewing and steam production separately, along with a cool touch steam wand, ensuring home baristas can practice their latte art safely,” he said.

Other key features include a convertible portafilter that reaches the desired temperature faster and a hot water spout for easily cleaning the portafilter, making alternative hot beverages in seconds.

The machine’s on/off time and managing brew and steam temperatures can be done remotely via the La Marzocco Home app.

The RRP is $5,999 and it is available through selected Winning Appliances stores nationally.
