ILVE has announced its sponsorship of the Good Food and Wine show, which begins in Melbourne this Friday before moving to Sydney, Perth and Brisbane. ILVE will join Kenwood and Nespresso counting on celebrity chefs to demonstrate their appliances’ appeal.

A major attraction of the festival is the Good Food Theatre, where celebrity chefs will be showing off their stuff using ILVE appliances. To name a few, Matt Moran in Melbourne, Bill Granger in Sydney, Maggie Beer in Perth and Brisbane will create a three-course meal live in front of the audience.

As official sponsors of the show ILVE will also be taking ownership of the VIP room at the Good Food & Wine Show where special guests will have the chance to get up close and personal with the celebrity chef’s on show at the event.

“With over 110,000 food and wine lovers from around the country expected to attend one of the shows, ILVE are proud to be the exclusive appliance partner of the Good Food & Wine Show 2014 and showcase their new and existing range of superior Italian appliances to the Australian market,” ILVE said.

Justine Schofield will provide some celebrity pulling power for Nespresso with cooking demonstrations during the Melbourne and Sydney shows, while Kenwood have Adriano Zumbo in their corner running sold-out ‘Zumbaron’ master classes.

Filiz Besan category manager for Kenwood said the show is an opportunity to bring the Kenwood, De’Longhi and Braun brands together.

“We are very pleased to be involved nationally in the Good Food & Wine Show.  This gives us a fantastic opportunity to not only engage with our consumers but to create a memorable experience for them.  For the first time we are bringing our brands together where Kenwood, De’Longhi and Braun will feature.”

Bensan said the tickets to Adriano Zumbo master classes sold out within the first week of release and, “This really is a testament to Adriano Zumbo and the how popular he has proven to be with his amazing creations”.

Zumbo said he was grateful for the chance to share his passion and give punters a chance to get hands on with his creations.

“It’s no secret that I have a love affair with confectionery and sharing what I do with people who appreciate it is the part of my job I enjoy most.

“Producing Zumbarons can be quite tricky and I hope that the tips I will share in these classes will encourage those who share the same passion for the sweet life to learn and be creative while having a good time,” he said.

Jura is also an official sponsor of the event, partnering with retailers Myer and Harvey Norman to sell new Impressa F8 TFT and J9.3 TFT coffee machines.
