SYDNEY: Samsung Electronics Australia and the Office National group have announced the formation of an extended relationship designed to offer Samsung print solutions products to over 170 Office National and Office Products Depot dealers.
The printers to form part of the deal will include mono and colour single function laser printers, mono and colour multifunction printers (MFPs) and related toner and accessory products.
“We are excited to have the Office National group on board, as Samsung printer products are ideally suited to the SoHo and small to medium business markets,” said Samsung national sales manager – print solutions, Greg Wallis.
“These are the key customer groups that purchase from the Office National and Office Products Depot dealers.
“The other benefits of partnering with Office National are not only their size and strength in printer hardware sales, but also their wide geographical reach across metropolitan and rural areas,” said Wallis.
Samsung will utilise the Office National partnership as a platform for some of Samsung’s emerging printer products, in particular the new CLX-2160 and CLX-2160N colour laser MFPs. These models, the smallest of their type in the world, are designed for the desktop of a home office or small office and deliver colour printing, digital copying and high resolution scanning in a compact package.
“We see several synergies in partnering with Samsung Electronics for their print solution products,” said Office National business technology manager, Ritesh Patel.
“Samsung’s strength is their extensive range of high quality products that suit the specific needs of our customers.” In addition to selling printer hardware and consumables, Office National dealers will also be trained to service all Samsung printer products.
“Office National’s ‘service what you sell’ philosophy is an initiative that ensures the company can deliver the ‘total’ print solution to their customers. Efficient and responsive customer service for key pieces of business equipment is essential to a small business,” said Wallis.
