JB Hi-Fi has announced it recorded double digit sales and earnings growth in FY16 from its JB Hi-Fi Solutions business which comprises Corporate, Government and Education sales.

JB Hi-Fi CEO Richard Murray has announced an eventual target of $500 million for this business division. “We remain on track to deliver on our longer term aspiration sales target of approximately $500 million per annum, though both organic growth and strategic acquisitions,” he said.

JB Hi-Fi now has account managers and sales support teams in offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth for its Solutions business.

“We design and deliver tailored solutions for customers that leverage our broad product range including commercial grade products, gift cards and telecommunications products; our comprehensive suite of services including both Managed and Project IT Services and our exclusive distribution network,” Murray said this week during the FY16 Results presentation.

“Education continues to be a key focus which includes significant sales of devices to both educational institutions and to parents directly through our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program as well as providing technicians to over 300 schools for the Victorian Department of Education.”

JB Hi-Fi also claims it is Australia and New Zealand’s largest consumer electronics insurance replacement provider.

“We have a dedicated team who partner with the insurance industry to develop innovative bespoke solutions,” Murray said.

JB Hi-Fi has been nominated as the Service Provider of the Year at the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance (ANZIF) Awards for the last five years and has won the award once in Australia and twice in New Zealand.
