SYDNEY: Harvey Norman COO, John Slack-Smith, announced the locations of 14 former Retravision NSW stores which have defected to join Australia’s largest electrical retailer, with eight stores re-branded Joyce Mayne and six re-branded Harvey Norman.
The Joyce Mayne stores are located at Muswellbrook, Bennets Green, Wagga Wagga, Toukley, Wallsend, Warners Bay, Young and Dubbo.
The Harvey Norman stores are located at Cobar, Newcastle West, Raymond Terrace, Salamander Bay, Temora and West Wyalong.
Slack-Smith told Current.com.au this afternoon that there have been no new Retravision NSW stores to join Harvey Norman under either brand since the new year, and there are no new stores expected to switch branding in the near future.
“There is nothing to speak of at this stage,” he said.
“Obviously there will be conversations that turn up. We think there is certainly some positive conversations to be had with some businesses on the back of the stores that we have already acquired.
Slack-Smith says he welcomes other appliance retail stores who would like to join Harvey Norman to contact the group.
“If there are similar businesses that are wanting to have a conversation with us, we would be happy to hear from them.”
