The celebration of 50 years of dishwashing excellence with washability, flexibility and stackability continues with the launch of Smeg’s new Diamond Series tall tank dishwashers. Like all Smeg dishwashers, the new models are made in Italy by Smeg and feature Smeg’s industry leading planetary wash system for the ultimate wash coverage, DryAssist for perfect drying with less energy and 6-star WELS rating.
The clever additions include redesigned baskets with increased capacity and stability with new telescopic runners; central detergent dispenser with sliding easy release lid; and inverter motor to vary spray pressure, catering to new wash programs as well as offering lower noise emissions.
The new models gain several new programs including Sterilise, a hygienic program to remove 99.9% of germs, making it ideal for baby bottles and cutting boards; Crystal, a program for fine glassware and china; Full Express 60, wash and dry a full load in one hour; Express 27, a 27-minute quick wash; and Silent, the perfect long, yet very quiet program for overnight.
Smeg is offering a five-year plus 10-year motor warranty on the collection. The three 60cm tall tank (86cm high) models: DWAU6D15XT3 underbench, DWAI6D15XT3 semi-integrated and DWAFI6D15T3 fully integrated are priced at $1,990 and available from Smeg major appliance retailers from September.
