Jaycar Electronics has announced the opening of its new store in Mackay, Queensland, which represents the 56th store in Australia.
The doors to Queensland’s 9th store were opened on 16 March and the new open plan store has been completely re-fitted to offer consumers with easy to access stock and interactive displays.
Merlin Zener, Mackay store manager, has been with Jaycar for the last four years and brings over 29 years worth of retail experience to the company.
Zener expressed a lot of enthusiasm towards the store opening and commented that he is looking forward to developing the new store and working alongside his team of four customer-focussed staff members.
“Working for Jaycar Electronics enables us to interact with customers and pass on our knowledge and ideas. It is satisfying to help people complete their do-it-yourself projects and then see the results,” said Zener.
JayCar’s Mackay store is located at 88 Sydney Street (corner of Alfred and Sydney Streey) Mackay, and is open seven days a week.
