Hisense has kicked off its new partnership with the NBL by backing players, coaches and fans with three new initiatives: Hisense 4K ULED TV Player of the Month Award, Hisense Coaches’ Corner and the Hisense and NBL Live national promotion.
Each month, fans will vote in the Hisense Quality Performance Award through NBL.com.au, picking the player who best embodies the Hisense spirit. The winning player will receive a Hisense 4K ULED TV while the fan who nominated them will receive an official NBL gift pack.
“With Melbourne United playing their home games at Hisense Arena, the brand is well recognised by Australian basketball fans. This partnership will only strengthen NBL fans’ awareness of Hisense’s support for our league,” an NBL spokesperson said.
Hisense will also sponsor Hisense Coaches’ Corner. Featuring NBL head coaches, Hisense Coaches’ Corner will provide a series of webinars, including technical tips and how they strategise and prepare their teams to succeed.
“At Hisense we love being a part of Australia’s sporting culture and bringing that same excitement into people’s homes with the crystal-clear images delivered by our television range,” Hisense head of marketing Andre Iannuzzi said.
“The NBL is an outstanding basketball competition, full of skilled and competitive players and coaches. It’s going to be an exciting season and we are delighted to be partnering with the NBL to deliver the Hisense Fans Player of the Month Award and Hisense Coaches’ Corner.”
To launch the partnership, the NBL will also promote Hisense and NBL LIVE across Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, NSW, Queensland and New Zealand. Throughout the season, fans will have the chance to win corporate tickets, NBL TV app subscriptions, Hisense TVs, and NBL prize packs.
