Hisense has signed a new partnership with Foxtel, which will see the Foxtel Now app join the existing suite of streaming services on selected Hisense smart TVs from October 2020.

This provides users with access to more content including Foxtel originals, exclusive HBO dramas, movies, sports, news programs and documentaries.

Existing Foxtel Multiscreen and Foxtel Now customers can enjoy the benefits of Foxtel simply by logging in to the app on their Hisense TV, while new users can take advantage of a 10-day free trial.

Hisense Australia head of marketing, Andre Iannuzzi said, “While content has long been king, demand for it has never been higher than in the current climate. Right now, Australians are spending increased time at home and they are looking for ways they can enhance their at-home viewing experiences. With our 2020 TV range bigger and bolder than ever before, we are extremely pleased to be bringing Australians a content offering to match.”

Foxtel group director for IP and content products, Holly Knill said, “Foxtel Now is the easiest way to watch Foxtel’s range of the best TV dramas, movies, sport, documentaries and lifestyle shows. We are thrilled that Foxtel Now is available on a wide range of Hisense’s smart TVs, ensuring that even more Australians can enjoy Foxtel shows directly from their smart TV.”

This partnership with Foxtel is in addition to Hisense’s announcement that it will integrate a Stan button on a number of its 2020 Smart TVs.
