Adobe has appointed a new channel manager for its local operations, with Steve Martin the new head of channels, Australia and New Zealand.

Martin’s role includes leading Adobe’s regional channel strategy, business development, partner relationship management and training initiatives.

He will be reporting to Adobe ANZ MD Paul Robson, who thanked serendipity for Martin’s arrival.

“We’re fortunate to welcome a professional of Steve’s calibre just as we introduce a revitalised program for our reseller community across the region,” Robson said. “A proven leader, I’m looking forward to working with Steve closely as he brings a prolific skill set to our channel team.”

“There is a real energy within Adobe and with the new Adobe Partner Connection program, aggressive growth projections and exciting new product launches — it’s a great time to be joining such a vibrant company,” Martin said. “We have a very compelling story for the market and I’m looking forward to a great year of many successes with our partners.”
