Industry veteran, Simon Balzer has joined the Hansgrohe subsidiary in Australia and New Zealand as managing director, based in the company’s showroom and office in Abbotsford, Victoria.

Balzer has over 20 years of experience in sales of consumer goods. He left a significant footprint during his career at Miele Australia, before he moved into the bathware and kitchen industry, where he gained experience as both group sales manager at Rogerseller and more recently, general manager at Argent Australia since March 2021.

With his experience and continued commitment from Hansgrohe Group to this region, the company has firm plans to continue to grow the business in Australia and New Zealand.

“Stepping into this role is a tremendous privilege, and I’m energised by the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. I’m confident that, together with the team and our partners, we can take Hansgrohe ANZ to even greater heights in the years to come,” Balzer said.

Balzer replaces K.C. Lee who will leave Hansgrohe after 24 years to retire. Lee worked for Hansgrohe since July 2000, initially as managing director for Southeast Asia, and from January 2019 as managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
