LG Electronics Australia yesterday announced the arrival of its new LD-1420T1 dishwasher with Slim Direct Drive Motor.
LG’s Direct Drive Motor is placed vertically rather than horizontally to reduce the size of the motor, this means there is more room for larger plates, crockery and serving dishes in one load.
The Flexible Basket System in the LD-1420T1 further increases this storage space with adjustable racks for more height.
In addition to this it also utilises fewer moving parts to reduce machine wear-and-tear, whilst also increasing stability and durability.

This latest innovation in dishwasher technology is a key example of LG’s commitment to delivering smart technology and stylish design in the home,” said Glacel Lubrin-Zabat, category manager whitegoods, LG Electronics.
The new LG Slim Direct Drive Dishwasher also comes with a UV lamp which is activated during and after the wash cycle and during the dry cycle to reduce bacteria. The extra hot rinse cycle enables the water temperature to rise at up to 80 degrees for a more hygienic wash.
It also features 14 place settings, Vario Wash System, Hybrid Drying System, Half Load Option and 4 Star WELS water efficiency rating using 13.9-litres per wash.
The LD-1420T1 is available now across retailers nationwide for a RRP of $1,449.
