SYDNEY: Winning Appliances will open its new Taren Point showroom on 27 July, completing the move from the Kogarah store that had served as the company’s Sutherland Shire base for over 20 years.
The new showroom, located at Unit 12, 120 Taren Point Road, will be more than four times the size of the Kogarah store, at just over 1,000 square metres, and will be run by current Kogarah store manager Barrie Ohlin.
Staff from the Kogarah store will be transferred, with the extra floor space meaning new jobs will be made available.
Winning Appliances project manager, Dennis Englefield, said the new store would feature interactive displays and “daily cooking demonstrations”, a feature at the Kogarah store.
The showroom also has “lots of natural light and ample parking,” Englefield claimed.
