Fujitsu General has announced its internal award winners for 2014 as the Japanese company embarks on an ambitious expansion plan to capture more of the commercial market, as first revealed by Appliance Retailer last month.

The three major award winners are:

  • Glenn Fear from South Australia for Retail Business Development Manager of the Year;
  • Mark Taylor from Queensland for Dealer Business Development Manager of the Year; and
  • David Wu from Victoria for Commercial Business Development Manager of the Year.

Also winning awards were Trevor Cook for Company Distinction and David Foley, who was named the 2014 Bill Gillett State Manager of the Year. Ronnie Hinch was runner up for this award.

Deputy managing director Philip Perham paid tribute to these victors:

“The business has changed a lot over the last few years,” he said. “Given the business’ focus on building its presence in the commercial sector we have brought people in with the right expertise to drive Fujitsu forward.

A powerful brand and strong team support will ultimately deliver the revolution we seek.”
