Jura Australia yesterday wrapped up a succesful four days showcasing its fully automatic coffee macines at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE). Jura was the only supplier with a stand dedicated to consumer fully automatic machines.

"Overall, the show was a success and from our point of view, it was great to be there to showcase our premium automatic machines," said Jura Australia head of sales George Liakatos.

"Most of the feedback we received from the mostly serious coffee drinkers was that they couldn’t believe the quality and taste that our machines could produce – we even had a few baristas scared!"

While several vendors showed off commercial fully automatics, Jura Australia was alone in demonstrating and presenting consumer fully automatics at MICE, which conflates a trade and general public audience across its conference.

Breville, incorporating a Nespresso stand, and Sunbeam were the other major consumer suppliers at the show.

On the Thursday and Friday of the show, Jura had its commercial machines, which were then switched for its consumer machines for the Saturday and Sunday.
