Establishing a path forward to align the needs of the current commercial environment was the catalyst for bringing together 190 Electrolux business leaders for two days in Rayong, Thailand last week.

Under the banner Comex 2023, the workshop brought together leaders from 19 offices across the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions as the first opportunity to meet face to face since 2020.

The messaging focused firmly on delivering operational and execution excellence consistently across all markets. Electrolux CEO for APAC and MEA, Adam Cich emphasised the need for the markets to concentrate on their strengths, reduce their weaknesses and reduce complexity to create ‘simplexity’.

Electrolux managing director for Australia and New Zealand, Kurt Hegvold (pictured above speaking at the event), attended along with the ANZ commercial leadership team.

“It was a tight schedule, but extremely beneficial to consolidate our approach to ensure we create seamless and effortless product experiences for our consumers and valued customers,” he said.

“Previewing the product developments coming our way too was particularly exciting. As a newcomer to the Electrolux Group family, experiences like this are extremely valuable commercially and illustrate a very human-centric agenda. At Electrolux, it is really our people that make the difference.”
