Electrolux Home Products marketing director, Richelle Barker has confirmed key changes within her team ahead of taking nine months maternity leave from 30 July 2021.

EHP retail and shopper marketing manager, Christina Kumcevski will step up to acting marketing director during Barker’s nine-month absence.

Kumcevski joined the Electrolux business in 2007 in the contact centre during her university studies before joining the company’s Business Insights graduate program, where she undertook roles in the category team and account management, and prior to her most recent role, she was product manager for food preservation.

“Richelle is a great example of a leader, and my goal is to keep doing what we are doing with the incredible support of my team,” Kumcevski told Appliance Retailer.

“Despite being a mum of two and having to work part time during some of my journey with Electrolux, it is pleasing to still be looked at for new roles, and it speaks volumes about the brand and the opportunities on offer.”
