iWorld Australia will exclusively distribute the Perfect Bake Scale & App, a smart baking system that leads you through the baking process step-by-step.
Perfect Bake walks the user through the entire baking process, from recipe selection, scaling and prep, measuring and adding ingredients, mixing and portioning, to baking and cooling. The Perfect Bake set includes a digital scale, a stand to prop up your mobile or tablet, three bowls and a thermometer.
The digital scale connects to the app, which keeps track of ingredients being added into the bowl, measuring by weight rather than volume. It also uses a built-in timer to alert you when you’re done mixing, baking, or cooling.
Recipes can be adjusted to make a certain quantity of baked good or if you’re using a smaller cake tin. Another clever feature is Pantry Mode which lets you tell the app what ingredients you have on hand and it will tell which recipes you can bake.
Unveiled at CES, the Perfect Bake is made by the same team responsible for Perfect Drink, a similar smartphone system for mixing cocktails. iWorld is distributing both products, (both RRP $99.95) and stock will be available in time for the Mother’s Day sale period.
A statement from the company said: “iWorld have been in discussions with the team at Perfect Bake for some time now, and we have been showing the range to all our customers and the response has gone through the roof. Perfect Bake is expected to land in a couple of weeks and will be available from all major mass merchants.”
