MELBOURNE: Kodak has appointed two new senior executives to the roles of country business general manager and director of marketing and operations.
Kodak managing director and CEO, Greg McKibbin, announced today that Grant Smith will now hold the title of country business general manager – Consumer Digital Group (CDG) and Clyde Rodrigues will has been appointed director of marketing and operations, Australia & New Zealand.
Rodrigues is taking on the new position on top of his current role as deputy general manager – Consumer Digital Group (CDG).
The new appointments are part of an effort to streamline Kodak’s digital market business.
“Kodak has undergone a global transformation to become an effective and competitive participant in the digital market while respecting the value of its traditional business,” said McKibbin.
“We anticipate there are further improvements that can be made to help streamline our business to deliver an improved experience to our customers: an experience that is more in line with the dynamic digital market place and the fast-paced expectations of today’s tech-savvy consumers. Smith and Rodrigues make the ideal team to facilitate these improvements.”
Smith comes from a country general manager position at Kodak New Zealand. His new role includes driving a customer focus throughout the Kodak Consumer Digital Group in Australia and New Zealand, and strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
“The Kodak product portfolio is more exciting than ever and is truly in touch with the interactive imaging needs of today,” said Smith.
“We look forward to creating ways where we can interface with our customers whenever possible. This is the only way we can ensure that we are answering the needs of our ever-changing marketplace.”
Rodrigues joined Kodak in 1990 and became the consumer sales and marketing manager manager in 2001. His new role will take affect on the eve of the opening of PMA Australia.
