Consumer electronics distributor E3 Style has made two changes to its management team, promoting Darren Fuller to the newly created role of global licensing manager and appointing  David Berthelsen as national brands manager “to oversee their branded distribution portfolios”.

Now responsible for the licensing of consumer products for both E3 Style and its sister company, Zenixx, Fuller was promoted from his role as senior product manager at E3 and has previously worked at distributor Crest Electronics. With E3 representing well-known brands including Star Wars, Sesame Street and Looney Tunes, Fuller will manage E3’s stable of licensed brands across the “Youth Electronics and Retro Tech” segments, as well as the recently added stationery category.

“Our vision is to be the global leader of products that are fun, fashionable and on-trend, and licensing plays a large role in that,” said E3 Style director and CEO, Vanessa Garrard. “We are investing heavily in our licensed programs and I’m thrilled to have Darren leading the growth plans for our licensed consumer products division.”

David Berthelsen has also joined the E3 Style team as national brands manager, bringing with him more than a decade of experience in management roles at NEC and Symantec. Following the recent addition of flagship brands Kodak and Motorola to E3’s branded distribution stable, Berthelsen will be charged with ensuring “brands have optimum exposure through E3 Style’s channels”.

“We are in business to get the right products to market at the right price,” said CEO Garrard. “Our lean business model allows us to bring these strong, reputable consumer brands to the market at aggressive price points for our retail partners and consumers.

“It seemed a natural progression for E3 Style to set up a branded distribution arm within the business. This branded distribution arm will not only assist in bringing global and national brands to market, but will also allow E3 Style to market these branded partners’ products, ensuring that they are competitively priced within the market.”
