MELBOURNE: Retravision Southern has confirmed chief financial officer and company secretary John Raciti resigned last Friday, after giving notice four weeks ago.
Raciti will move to take a position as music chain Sanity’s chief financial officer, which he starts in two weeks.
He said the decision to move was “prompted by a tap on the shoulder, and eight years in the game wasn’t a bad stint”.
Despite his move to music retailing, Raciti did not rule out coming back to the consumer electronics industry in the future, saying he had enjoyed his time at Retravision and developed a lot of relationships.
In confirming the departure, Retravision Southern chief executive Tim Cockayne also said the company was already “90 per cent down the chain of the interview stage” for a replacement.
