SYDNEY: Australia’s top five brands in contention for the Best Laundry Supplier award at the 2008 Electrical Retailing Awards (ERAs) have been announced. Last year’s winner, Fisher & Paykel, is in the running again.
A nationally representative panel of retailers from all major groups is currently casting their votes on the top five laundry brands that were selected on the basis of their total sales value in the category, as measured by GfK.
This year the five laundry category finalists, listed alphabetically, are: Bosch, Electrolux, Fisher & Paykel, LG Electronics, Simpson.
While the top five finalists are selected on sales value, the winner is judged according to the following criteria: Design/appearance and innovation; Profitability/margin; Promotional/advertising support; sales representation and service backup; and Sales growth to category.
