Denfair was a great success for E&S as the retailer made its debut at Australia’s leading interiors exhibition in Melbourne last week.

“As a design-led exhibition, we wanted to give the architect and design community more than just a product display and instead deliver an extraordinary experience, so we engaged a Melbourne design firm to create our stand,” E&S co-owner, Rob Sinclair told Appliance Retailer.

“We provided visitors with fresh filtered water from Zip taps in glass flasks embossed with E&S branding, served them with quality barista coffee from La Marzocco premium coffee machines, and offered French champagne that was stored in Sub-Zero refrigerators,” he said.

“It was rewarding to see the design community enthusiastic about upcoming projects, and a great way to expose the E&S brand alongside our key partners. Arisit was a major driving force behind our involvement so if it weren’t for Simon Taylor and Rachael Williams, we wouldn’t have been part of the exhibition.

“I would also like to thank our other suppliers for their support including Andi-Co, Duravit, Hansgrohe, La Marzocco, Parisi, Pitt Cooking, Sub-Zero and Zip Water,” Sinclair added.

The show was also a resounding success for Eurolinx, according to marketing manager, Daniel Bertuccio.

“There was a healthy flow of visitors across the show floor and to the Eurolinx product display throughout the three days. Given the current Covid restrictions we were skeptical on how the show would go however the Melbourne trade came out in force. We would have liked to see more presence from interstate visitors but given the circumstances we are very happy with the result,” he told Appliance Retailer.

“Our products were well received by interior designers and architects alike and the Fhiaba X-Pro series in our new Titanium finish proved to be a real showstopper. Artusi’s latest outdoor kitchen range was a welcome solution for outdoor spaces and ILVE’s 3-in-1 professional PLUS Series Combi Oven was a revelation with its unique cooking features, modern black glass styling and full colour responsive TFT operation.”

Olimpia Splendid embraced the opportunity to showcase products and speak with interior designers, architects, and developers during the exhibition.

“We discovered that quite a few of the visitors were already aware of our products, but had not seen them in operation,” marketing and product development manager, Peter Burnham told Appliance Retailer.

“For many of the visitors, it was a lightbulb moment for them to see the benefits of the Unico Pro in operation (without the outside compressor) and compare it to traditional split systems, which we were displaying as well. Some of the other products we had on display included panel heaters, dehumidifiers and air curtains.

“There was particular interest with some of the developers in the air curtains, which were designed to keep bugs and pollutants out of businesses such as cafes, restaurants and malls. The show generated a lot of positive leads which we are following up.”
