De’Longhi Australia has unveiled the La Specialista Prestigio manual coffee machine, supporting the launch of the La Specialista Maestro last year.

La Specialista Prestigio features machine technology exclusive to De’Longhi Australia including Sensor Grinding technology for precision control and grinding variability from level 1 (the finest setting) to level 8 (the coarsest setting) to maximise the aroma of the chosen coffee beans.

Active Temperature Control accommodates different coffee bean varieties by offering three infusion temperature settings between 90 degrees and 96 degrees Celsius. Throughout the brewing process, the water temperature is precisely controlled, ensuring stability and consistency.

Dynamic Pre-Infusion improves coffee extraction by adapting the pre-infusion length to the density of the coffee dose. This ensures an evenly distributed cover of water across the surface area of the coffee grounds. The Smart Tamping Station allows consistent tamping pressure with an innovative tamping lever to avoid the mess of coffee grounds.

With three one-touch coffee recipes, users can choose from espresso, coffee and long black, and the My LatteArt steam wand creates silky smooth textured micro foam.

“We’re incredibly excited to unveil the La Specialista Prestigio. The new Prestigio is a beautifully crafted and engineered manual coffee machine, perfectly designed for Australians looking to create effortlessly handcrafted barista quality coffee from the comfort of their home,” De’Longhi Australia and New Zealand marketing director, George O’Neil said.

In addition to the La Specialista Prestigio, De’Longhi is introducing the La Specialista Maestro in Matte Black.

La Specialista Prestigio (in Matte Black and Metal) is available for RRP $1,149 and La Specialista Maestro (in Matte Black and Metal) is available for RRP $2,199 at all major electrical retailers.
