Expected 2018 opening.

David Jones will open its first Sunshine Coast store at Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore, Queensland in spring 2018 as part of the Sunshine Plaza’s $400 million dollar redevelopment.

It will also feature the department store’s new café concept, the David Jones Café. David Jones will also implement its new re-energised customer service model at Sunshine Plaza with an increased focus on full time sales professionals and category experts who will provide an enhanced shopping experience with product knowledge across multiple brands.

Commenting on the new store, David Jones CEO, John Dixon (pictured) said, “Queensland is an important market for us, and we are pleased to be opening our first store on the Sunshine Coast. This is a thriving and vibrant region with a discerning customer base made up of locals and a growing number of interstate and international visitors. We look forward to bringing a world class shopping experience to these customers and being part of the transformed Sunshine Plaza centre.”

The Sunshine Plaza is also home to Coles, Kmart, Myer and Target and Shaver Shop.
