Products selling for up to 60% off.

The infamous 24 hour online shopping event, Click Frenzy was launched at 7pm on Tuesday, but many retailers kicked off their deals a little earlier. In particular, Kogan.com had a range of deals ahead of the event including: Sony noise-cancelling headphones selling for more than 60% off RRP, Apple iPhone 7s for $929 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones up for grabs at $799. Kogan.com is among more than 300 retailers participating in this year’s online shopping event.

Kogan.com executive director, David Shafer told Appliance Retailer, “Australian consumers appear to be starting their Christmas shopping earlier than ever before, and 2016 is expected to be the biggest Christmas ever for online shopping in Australia. In response, Kogan.com has launched the Kogan Frenzy sale early, 24 hours before other sales events.

“Kogan Frenzy has more than 100 great deals live right now – including big savings on smartphones, TVs, air conditioners, electronics and lots more, which means smart shoppers can potentially save hundreds by doing their holiday shopping right now at Kogan.com.

“We expect Australian consumers will love the fact that incredible deals are available mid-November and they can get their online shopping out of the way early without battling crowds, while also taking advantage of incredible deals.”

Despite the views of Shafer, as reported by Appliance Retailer last month, major retailers including Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi are not participating.
