Ruslan Kogan executive director, David Shafer told Appliance Retailer, “Australian consumers appear to be starting their Christmas shopping earlier than ever before, and 2016 is expected to be the biggest Christmas ever for online shopping in Australia. In response, has launched the Kogan Frenzy sale early, 24 hours before other sales events.

“Kogan Frenzy has more than 100 great deals live right now – including big savings on smartphones, TVs, air conditioners, electronics and lots more, which means smart shoppers can potentially save hundreds by doing their holiday shopping right now at

“We expect Australian consumers will love the fact that incredible deals are available mid-November and they can get their online shopping out of the way early without battling crowds, while also taking advantage of incredible deals.”

Despite the views of Shafer, as reported by Appliance Retailer last month, major retailers including Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi are not participating.
