In second summer sports partnership.

Off the back of its TV supplier partnership with the 2018 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix, CHiQ (formerly Changhong) has confirmed its second summer sports partnership with a new agreement with Tennis Australia.

Tennis Australia head of major events, Cameron Pearson said, “We are delighted to confirm CHiQ televisions as the exclusive television supplier of Brisbane International presented by Suncorp, Sydney International and FAST4 Showdown. CHiQ will be the only television brand showcased at these much-anticipated tennis tournaments that will feature some of the biggest names in the sport.”

The partnership with Tennis Australia forms part of a broader long-term marketing strategy for CHiQ to drive brand exposure, build awareness and drive CHiQ sales via its Australia-wide network of retail partners.

The new agreement will ensure CHiQ’s intelligent TV technology will be showcased to thousands of tennis fans via:

  • courtside signage at Brisbane International presented by Suncorp and Sydney International
  • 30 second TVC running on rotation on the precinct screens at all three venues
  • CHiQ branding on court furniture at Ken Rosewall Arena for the Sydney International and FAST4 Showdown
  • Sydney International official program and newsletters

CHiQ general manager for sales and marketing, David Esler said: “Catching all the tennis action is an essential Australian summer experience for millions of Australians. Through our exclusive agreement with Tennis Australia we’re excited to promote the CHIQ brand to tennis fans, whether they’re watching the action courtside, or cheering on from their lounge rooms – so they can consider high quality and stylish CHiQ televisions as a good match for their future entertainment needs.”

CHiQ will also promote the partnership through its own social media channels, including Facebook.
