LG has unveiled its 2024 QNED and QNED Mini LED TV line-up, offering a wider selection of screen choices, ranging from 43-inch to 86-inch, with the addition of a 98-inch model.

Its Alpha 8 AI processor delivers a 1.3-fold increase in AI performance, a 2.3-fold enhancement in graphic performance, and a processing speed that is 1.6 times faster compared to its predecessor.

In addition to LG Quantum Dot and NanoCell colour technologies, AI Picture Pro offers premium picture quality based on deep learning by distinguishing faces, objects, and backgrounds within a scene. Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro splits the picture into blocks and analyses each in real-time to detect the darkest and brightest areas. With Personalised Picture Wizard, users can customise image quality by selecting a few preferred images from a given selection.

AI Sound Pro incorporates virtual 9.1.2 surround sound from the TVs’ built-in speakers. For a unified audio system, WOW Orchestra integrates the LG soundbar and TV speakers.

LG QNED Mini LED TVs utilise Precision Dimming technology to improve gradations and accurate backlight control. The QNED90 model features Million Grey Scale that differentiates between shades of grey and represents gradation with a 20-bit accuracy.

With the latest LG webOS smart TV platform, users can create individual profiles to tailor their experience. The TVs differentiate between voices based on user profiles and offer personalised recommendations based on viewing history.

The main home UI screen of the latest webOS features Dynamic Q Card for fast access to services, with customised organisation into groups, such as Home Office, Home Hub, Sports and Games. LG 2024 QNED TVs also support Apple AirPlay and Chromecast.

Enhancing the user experience for individuals with diverse abilities, LG 2024 QNED TVs supplies an array of accessibility features including dedicated menu settings, sign language avatars, remote control tutorials, and guides for quick problem resolution.

LG OLED TVs

LG’s 2024 OLED TV line-up is powered by the company’s latest AI processor with four-fold higher AI performance. The LG SIGNATURE OLED M4 and LG OLED G4 TVs come with the new Alpha 11 AI processor, which provides a 70% improvement in graphic performance and a 30% faster processing speed compared to its predecessor.

The new AI processor refines colours by analysing frequently used shades that best convey the mood and emotional elements intended by filmmakers and content creators. Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro splits pictures into blocks and finetunes brightness and contrast, while upgraded AI upscaling utilises pixel-level image analysis to effectively sharpen objects and backgrounds.

The LG SIGNATURE OLED M4 wireless OLED TV, now available in a new 65-inch screen size, joining the 97-inch model, is the world’s first TV with wireless video and audio transmission at up to 4K 144Hz.

AI Sound Pro leverages the built-in speakers’ virtual 11.1.2 surround sound. AI technology also effectively separates vocals from soundtrack to enhance dialogue clarity.

Most of the latest LG OLED TV models feature a 4K 144Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 features. The TVs also come with Game Optimiser allowing gamers to switch between display presets, as well as NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility and AMD FreeSync support.

With the latest version of webOS, users can create up to 10 individual profiles, customise the Home screen and set up personalised settings with a personalised Picture Wizard, which lets viewers adjust image quality.

LG 2024 Smart TVs with the latest webOS can interact with smart home devices supporting Matter. The TVs also support Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast built-in.

Compatible LG OLED TVs and QNED TVs pair with LG soundbars through WOWCAST built-in for enhanced audio quality. WOW Orchestra creates three-dimensional audio with the TV’s built-in speakers and soundbar working in harmony.
