JBL has unveiled a raft of updates to its portable audio line-up including the JBL Xtreme 4, Clip 5 and Go 4 products, now made with recycled fabric and plastic and packaged in FSC-certified paper printed with soy ink.

The JBL Xtreme 4 has been enhanced with AI Sound Boost which analyses audio in real time with an AI algorithm to optimise the acoustic output level. In addition to a replaceable battery that provides extended lifespan, features include Bluetooth 5.3 with LE audio capabilities, IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, multi-speaker connection and a power bank providing 24 hours of playtime. The speaker incorporates post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials for 70% of its plastic and 100% of the fabric for the speaker grille.

The JBL Clip 5 has a redesigned carabiner with a bigger and more accessible opening, making it easier to clip on anywhere. The travel accessory offers an increase in driver power for more streamlined sound and consistent bass at every volume. Key inclusions are 12 hours of playtime, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE audio capabilities, an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, JBL Portable app support and multi-speaker connection via Auracast. The speaker incorporates PCR materials for 70% of its plastic and 100% of the fabric for the speaker grille.

The JBL Go 4 delivers more robust sound and punchier bass than its predecessor. Meant to travel anywhere, the speaker has an updated silhouette and wider, more durable strap. It boasts seven hours of playtime, an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE audio, and multi-speaker connection via the JBL Portable app and Auracast. Available in six colours, the JBL Go 4 incorporates PCR materials for 80% of its plastic and 100% of the fabric for the speaker grille.

The latest evolution of the JBL PartyBox series includes the JBL PartyBox Club 120, PartyBox Stage 320, and PartyBox Wireless Mic featuring immersive lighting effects, extended playtime powered by a replaceable battery and upgraded Bluetooth capabilities.

With JBL Pro Sound, the JBL PartyBox Club 120 delivers powerful sound and deeper bass, along with a symmetric and themed light show incorporating starry lights, light trails, and strobe light effects synced with the music. It can pair unlimited JBL PartyBoxes together and connect with other JBL Auracast-enabled portable speakers via Auracast. Its 12 hours of playtime can be doubled with the replaceable battery. Other key inclusions are two microphone inputs and one guitar input, as well as compatibility with the JBL PartyBox app. The PartyBox Club 120 incorporates post-consumer recycled materials for 70% of its plastic.

The JBL PartyBox Stage 320 features superior JBL Pro Sound with two high-sensitivity woofers and dual tweeters. The telescopic handle and wide wheels mean the speaker can be easily transported.

Its 18 hours of playtime can be doubled with the replaceable battery and FastCharge means a 10-minute charge delivers two hours of playtime. It can pair unlimited JBL PartyBoxes together and connect with other JBL Auracast-enabled portable speakers via Auracast. The PartyBox Stage 320 incorporates post-consumer recycled materials for 60% of its plastic.

A new addition to the series is the JBL PartyBox Wireless Mic, which comes in a plug-and-play two-mic pack. JBL’s shock mount system minimises handling and breathing noise. It’s compatible with all JBL PartyBox speakers and comes with 20 hours of playtime and a rechargeable battery. The PartyBox Wireless Mic incorporates PCR materials for 30% of its plastic. The wireless mic dongle incorporates PCR materials for 70% of its plastic.
