Samsung has strengthened its Galaxy smartphone range with the release of the S21 FE 5G at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G has a slim 7.9mm body and sleek design that seamlessly contours with the device’s camera housing. The device also incorporates the same processor as the flagship S21 series and includes a 240Hz touch response rate for an enhanced gaming experience.

The S21 FE 5G’s 120Hz refresh rate delivers smooth content and provides the highest resolution on the dynamic AMOLED 2X display.

“The Galaxy S21 FE offers Australians great value, and it is packed with the best Galaxy features our fans love including a fast processor, awesome camera, and an all-day battery with fast charging,” Samsung Electronics Australia vice president for mobile experience, Garry McGregor said.

“It has all the features to capture and share content, enjoy mobile gaming and content on-the-go. Priced from just $999, this is one the most stylish and feature-packed smartphones available on the market today.

“The predecessor to this device, the Galaxy S20 FE, was one of our most successful smartphones last year both with consumers and our commercial customers. We expect that the Galaxy S21 FE will be equally as popular thanks to its affordability, design and features.”

The Galaxy S21 FE 5G also features a 32-megapixel front camera and triple rear camera system which includes a 12-megapixel ultrawide, 12-megapixel wide and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. An improved night mode enhances low light shots.

Available in 128GB and 256GB variants, the Galaxy S21 FE is now available for purchase for RRP $999 and $1,099 respectively. Customers who purchase the smartphone from a participating retailer prior to January 30, 2022, will receive a bonus pair of Galaxy Buds2 valued at RRP $219.
