Hisense is adding to its soundbar range with the U5120G with Dolby Atmos, unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which includes 12 speakers and a subwoofer

The Hisense U512OG Dolby Atmos soundbar includes upfiring and side firing speakers to create a field of surround sound that appears to come from every direction including above.

Later in the year Hisense will introduce wireless rear speakers to add more precision and detail to the sound produced by the U512OG.

“Australians are increasingly seeking to enhance their at-home entertainment experience, so we are thrilled to be expanding our soundbar offering to continue delivering our customers the very best in audio,” Hisense Australia head of marketing, Nick Peters said.

“At Hisense, we pride ourselves on the innovation and quality that we build into our TV range – big and small – so when our customers are looking to create a cinema-like experience in their own homes, audio should equally not be overlooked. Our premium range of soundbars ensure this critical element of the overall experience is never compromised.”

Dolby Atmos audio technology can now be found across the Hisense range including the 2022 TriChroma Laser Cinema, ULED and mini-LED TVs.

The Hisense U512OG Dolby Atmos soundbar is available now for $799.
