Cellnet Group Limited has recalled its 3SIXT Quick Charge wall charger (3S-0639) sold as a single product or part of Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 Plus bundles in Australia from 1 July, 2016 to 1 February, 2018.
In some circumstances, the product’s internal fuse may fail in an unsafe manner and could result in damage to connected devices, electrical shock or serious injury if it remains connected to the power supply.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the wall charger and contact Cellnet Limited or return the product to the original place of purchase for a replacement.
The charger was sold at various telecommunications and electronics retailers nationally.
