Bush Australia – marketer and distributor of the Bush, Grundig and iLuv brands in Australia – has announced a raft of new appointments as part of broader company restructure and an expansion in the Australian and overseas markets.
Sam Baker has joined the company from a previous role at Marinucci packaging, taking on the position of purchasing coordinator. Baker will replace Carl Robertson who is transferring to Bush’s Hong Kong office to support the company’s expansion.
In addition, Feriel Wong has joined Bush in the newly created role of inventory planner. Previously, Wong worked at Sony as inventory and allocations planner for 11 years.
Following on from Bush Australia’s acquisition of distribution rights for the iLuv audio accessory brand in 2011, the company has appointed a new marketing manager and sales manager responsible for the brand.
Former head of marketing for JVC and Polaroid at Hagemeyer Brands Australia, Jim Parissis will take on the position of marketing manager at Bush. Parissis will be joined by Frank Micali, who takes on the position of sales manager following five years as retail channel manager at Trend Micro.
Speaking about the appointments, Bush Australia’s managing director, Daniel Todd, said he was happy with the additions to the Bush team.
“We have some great things happening this year and beyond in the Australian market and we’re very excited to have the addition of such experience and skill to our team with Feriel, Sam, Jim and Frank,” said Todd. “Carl’s transfer to Hong Kong will also be a pivotal role in supporting our long term strategies.”
