BSH Australia general manager of retail sales, Robert Warner has been appointed managing director for BSH New Zealand, effective 1 July 2024.
Warner joined BSH Australia in 2016, looking after specialist retail, commercial and Gaggenau before taking over the newly formed retail sales division at the start of 2022.
Announcing the news, BSH Australia and New Zealand CEO, Andrew Jones said, “I have worked very closely with Robert over the last few years and I have been impressed with his leadership style, his varied experience and his relationships with our Australian partners. I am sure that BSH New Zealand will flourish under his direction.”
Warner says he is both proud and humbled to be stepping into the new position.
“BSH Home Appliances has a long and proud in history in New Zealand and I am very excited to join the team in July and help write the next chapter for our brands and our business,” he told Appliance Retailer.
“The New Zealand leadership team will continue to run the day-to-day operation of the business in the interim, whilst I continue to carry out all aspects of my role as general manager of retail sales at BSH Australia. This period gives us the appropriate amount of time to manage the transition and ensure a seamless handover for the Australian business.”
