Convoy International has recently welcomed two new additions to the company’s sales and marketing teams.

Convoy International is a leading importer, distributor and marketer of a range of high-fidelity loudspeakers, audio components for in home and car installations, mounting solutions for video and hi-fi components, surge and power conditioning units and audio video digital accessories and cables.

Its brand portfolio consists of Bowers & Wilkins, Classé, Harmon Kardon, JBL Home and Car products, Monster Cable and OmniMount.

Clinton Russel has been welcomed as an area manager for Victoria based in Melbourne and Sally Vernon joins Convoy International as communications coordinator based in Sydney.

Russel, who is originally from New Zealand, brings extensive sales experience to the team after working in the consumer electronics and AV retail categories for many years. Most recently Russel worked in a sales management role with electronics importer Direct Imports in Auckland, New Zealand.

Russel will be responsible for growing the distribution of the brands within the Convoy portfolio as well as building relationships with Convoy’s existing customer base, as well as generating new business.

Vernon comes from a background in communication and branding within the shipping and logistics industry, she brings experience in marketing communications, brand promotion and visual communications to the role.

Vernon’s new position will see her working closely with senior management to implement marketing communications strategies.

Both new appointments are said to be indicative of the emphasis Convoy places on ensuring high levels of retail development and support in the growing audio visual market.
