On an exhibition stand that on occasion resembled a nightclub, extraction specialist Bora expanded its range of kitchen appliances to enter the oven category with the X BO Flex steam oven at EuroCucina 2022.
The Bora X BO oven is operated using a large 19-inch full colour display located at the top of the oven that can folded-up for adjusted viewing. The company claims the product features “no handles, no buttons and no gimmicks”.
Other features include steam extraction function that draws the steam backwards before the door is open to “retain a clear view at all times and stops you getting a face full of steam when you open the door of the oven”. If the door function has been activated the steam will be extracted from the oven chamber before the door is unlocked.
The Bora X BO offers an intensive cleaning and drying program using a proprietary cartridge which means there is no need to wipe down the oven after cleaning.
“The X BO thoroughly cleans and descales its oven chamber with hot steam and the environmentally friendly active ingredients in the Bora cleaning cartridge,” the company said.
The Bora X BO Oven features W-Lan and Bluetooth connections and is complemented by a 140mm and 290mm warming drawer.
