Belkin has celebrated Earth Day by announcing it has reached a key sustainability goal of carbon neutrality in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.

The company has confirmed this achievement has been made over the past 12 months through direct and purchased emissions which is in line with its target to reach net zero emissions by 2030.

Moreover, the consumer electronics brand reduced its single use plastic packaging by 89 per cent, surpassing its 2025 reduction target of 25 per cent.

In addition, the company sold 210 metric tons of virgin plastics replaced from 8.8M post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials and saved a cumulative of 2,183 metric tons in plastic since 2019, equivalent to 114 million water bottles saved.

PCR refers to materials recycled from products that have been used by consumers and discarded.

Among Belkin’s products made with PCR materials are Auto-Tracking Stand Pro; SoundForm ClearFit Open Ear Wireless Earbuds; BoostCharge Pro Wireless Charging Dock with Qi2; BoostCharge Pro 140W 4-port GaN Wall Charger; BoostCharge Pro 3-Port Laptop Power Bank; BoostCharge Pro 2-in-1 Cable with UDB-C and Lighning connector; and InvisiGlass Treated screen protector for iPhone 16.

Belkin is also funding the responsible recycling of 28,445 metric tons of electrical and electronic devices; 11,463 metric tons of packaging; and 1,358 metric tons of batteries.
