EuroCucina will bring together more than 80 exhibitors to showcase a range of kitchen furniture products across 16,000 square metres at the Fiero Milano fairgrounds in Rho from June 7 to 12, 2022.
FTK – Technology for the Kitchen – will welcome 39 exhibitors presenting the latest appliance technology in an exhibition area of over 10,500 square metres. Exhibitors include AEG, Andi-Co, Asko, Beko, Bertazzoni, Electrolux, Fhiaba, ILVE, LG Electronics, Neff, Samsung, Sharp, Siemens Sirius, Smeg, Steel, Vestel and V-Zug.
Some suppliers have shared a sneak peek with Appliance Retailer on what to expect on the show floor.
Smeg is showcasing signature innovative technology and design across all aesthetic collections. Also featured will be colours of the FAB fridge collection and expansion of the premium kitchen solution.
Sirius will debut its new designer island range and purification system, while Steel will showcase the technology behind its patented fan system with dual inverted fans.
ILVE will be presenting its latest cooker at its on-site cooking theatre, and Bertazzoni will celebrate its 140-year anniversary.
As a result of the pandemic, kitchens have evolved into a multifunctional space that is more fluid and hybrid beyond essential needs. Consumers are now looking to create a space that caters to cooking, dining, containing, celebrating, chatting, working and relaxing.
Colour shades, which left the minimalist black and white look behind several years ago, are inspired by the natural spectrum, often opting for soft tones reminiscent of the spices used in cooking including sage, rosemary, lavender, saffron and basil.
As in every other space in the house, sustainability remains one of the key trends for 2022. In response to demand from consumers who have become more aware and involved, companies will invest increasingly in sustainable production cycles with low carbon footprints, and in durable solutions that will also take the end life of products into consideration.
