SYDNEY: Canon Australia has launched a new in-store campaign to promote its PowerShot range, offering free cameras for an entire family and a $15,000 “dream vacation” as prizes.

The prizes are available to those who purchase a PowerShot camera before the end of August and register online.

Canon will tie the “dream vacation” prize and promotion into a campaign whereby it will send a family called the Powers around Australia, with each member equipped with a PowerShot camera.

As they travel, the Power family members will take photos and post them on the Canon website and the trip’s own blog.

Canon Australia group brand manager, Kimberly Langton, said Canon hoped the promotion would help promote photography and sharing memories.
