The Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) is hosting a Future of Packaging workshop for the packaging, waste and recycling sectors this November.

The workshop is designed to upskill, educate and foster collaboration towards the future of packaging across Australasia.

Interactive workshops will allow for collaboration and networking among industry peers and enable the identification of solutions and next steps for action as the industry prepares for change. APCO CEO, Chris Foley, will also provide an update on APCO’s approach to packaging beyond 2025.

Workshop attendees will be given an in-person opportunity to contribute and advise on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to their industry (and individual businesses) in the context of a changing packaging landscape in Australia. Feedback will be shared with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).

Aurecon global circular economy leader and one of Australia’s leading circular economy experts, Jodie Bricout will help facilitate the Future of Packaging workshop along with the APCO executive team.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, 2 November at the Australian Maritime Museum in Sydney. Register here.
