Amazon Australia aims to hire over 2,000 seasonal workers to support fulfilment of customer orders over the holiday period, with applications now open in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Newcastle and the Gold Coast.
For those who prefer a more flexible work arrangement, there are earning opportunities around the country, delivering packages with Amazon Flex.
The company is looking for people to help pick, pack, ship customer orders with no previous experience required. These opportunities are in addition to 1,250 permanent jobs created across Amazon Australia’s operations sites this year.
Amazon Australia director of operations, Mindy Espidio-Garcia said, “As we head into the holiday season, we’re pleased to offer over 2,000 new seasonal work opportunities for Australians around the country, at a time when thanks to cost-of-living pressures they are needed most.
