Expect to see some big announcements from some of the most popular brands in the market when the appliance and consumer electronics industry rolls into Berlin for the 2013 IFA conference in the first week of September.

The event organisers this morning revealed the schedule for IFA’s two dedicated days of press conferences — and its packed with the most innovative companies in the world.

German brand Siemens has the honour of kick-starting the proceedings on Wednesday 4 September 2013, followed by Miele and Bosch.

Panasonic is the first non-German brand to present, followed by Sony and AV brand Metz.

That evening, Samsung will host its own Unpacked press conference in Berlin to reveal the latest iteration in its popular Note range, as this Tweet revealed:

Samsung will then back up on Thursday 5 September 2013 for its IFA press conference, joining Toshiba, Grundig, Philips, De’Longhi, Braun, Kenwood and Beko on a day expected to be jam-packed with new appliances and trends.

One surprise omission from the list of presenters is LG Electronics, which has previously used IFA to unveil major new initiatives, such as OLED TV.

Over the past decade, IFA has become a major focal point for suppliers wanting to announce new products and technology to large crowds of dealers, retailers and media.
