SYDNEY, NSW: Appliance brand Omega, distributed in Australia by Hagemeyer Appliances, has today launched a new range of water-efficient dishwashers that offer users a selection of programs and settings to minimise energy and water use.

The ODW702 and ODW704 are both available in white or stainless steel finishes, and each feature 6 wash programs, 1 to 24 hour start delay and a child lock, as well as a “quiet operation” volume of 47 decibels.

“We are thrilled to be launching the new series of Omega dishwashers,” said Mary Karagiannakis, product manager for Omega dishwashers. “The features offered in this new range allow consumers to have greater control and flexibility in their kitchen, with cleaning appliances that are not only affordable and efficient, but provide convenient features for their family too.”

The ODW702 uses 10.5 litres of water in a normal cycle and offers a 4.5-star water rating and a 2.5-star energy rating. With a capacity of 12 place settings, it features a half-load wash option to reduce energy and water use and to save time, as well as a quick wash cycle that reduces washing time to 35 minutes.

The ODW704 holds 14 place settings and boasts a 4-star water rating (consuming 13 litres in a normal wash cycle) and a 3.5-star energy rating. It features an adjustable top basket, an upper cutlery tray and a DualZone functionality that allows users to wash the top or bottom basket separately.

The dishwashers are available in appliance retailers including Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Retravision and Winnings.
