SYDNEY, NSW: Motorola today sent out a Save The Date invitation for an event in Sydney on 5 May 2011. Although it not specifically reveal that the Xoom would be launched that day, there are strong hints.
The Motorola invite sent out this morning.
The biggest hint is that the text of the invite is framed by the shape of tablet PC, complete with a forward facing camera for video calls. We asked a Motorola spokesperson for confirmation, receiving the following response:
"We can’t tell you too much at the moment but it’s definitely worth saving the date for."
