Yamaha is launching the TW-E3C true wireless earbuds – the third generation of the TW-E3 class – incorporating premium features such as ambient sound, gaming mode and multi-point while remaining the most affordable earbud in the Yamaha line-up.
The new smaller form of the TW-E3C ensures a comfortable and lightweight fit for extended use. The design features an indentation on the side to better fit into the shape of the ear and keep secure in place. Touch sensor controls ensure simple operation.
For voice calls, the TW-E3C is equipped with a total of four high-performance MEMS microphones for sound collection. The direction of the sound source is estimated by calculating the difference in volume and time of arrival at the four microphones to accurately capture the voice.
Qualcomm cVc (Clear Voice Capture) separates voice from noise and reduces ambient sound to achieve superior speech performance for clear communication. Ambient Sound mode enables external sound to be easily heard.
True Sound is Yamaha’s promise of bringing the listener closer to the artist achieved through tonal balance, dynamics and sound image. In support of safe music listening, Yamaha has included its trademark Listening Care feature, which provides intelligent equalisation at any volume.
The TW-E3C are also equipped with gaming mode; a low-latency mode ideal for playing games or other video content on portable devices. A multi-point function that allows two Bluetooth devices to be simultaneously connected to easily switch between devices such as a tablet and a phone.
Incorporating TrueWireless Mirroring, independent left-right transmission is enabled for greater playback stability. The Role-Swap function prevents battery levels from decreasing unevenly by determining the primary/secondary units based on earbud status at the time of connection. Overall, this achieves up to 24 hours of listening time (nine hours plus 15 hours from the charging case).
The TW-E3C carry an IPX5 rating for water and sweat resistance and are available in six colours including black, grey, red, beige, green and blue. The true wireless earbuds are now available for RRP $129.
