Game Two of Holden State of Origin between the AAMI Queensland XXXX Maroons and the New South Wales VB Blues at Suncorp Stadium is tonight!
The match kicks off at 8pm local time — that’s the same time in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory; 7:30pm in the Northern Territory and South Australia; and 6pm in Western Australia.
Channel Nine and affiliates will be showing the match live in glorious SD in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, the Northern Territory, the Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania; while those lucky West Australians can watch it HD on GEM.
New South Wales leads the Series 1-0 after its 14-6 victory in Game One.
One New South Welshman hoping to stop his home state winning the trophy.
Current.com.au triannual free PR in support of State of Origin today goes to De’Longhi Australia. As a major supporter of the South Sydney Rabbitohs, De’Longhi is currently basking in the reflected glory of Australia’s best rugby league team.
Souths currently sits 3 points clear of Melbourne on the NRL ladder and has four players in tonight’s game: Greg Inglis, Chris McQueen and Ben Te’o for Queensland and Nathan Merritt for New South Wales.
UPDATE: An earlier version of this story omitted Chris McQueen from Souths' and Queensland's representatives.
The great Greg Inglis – what a player – he's from Bowraville, in northern New South Wales!
The Souths team thanks fans after yet another victory.
