HTC is conducting an experiential marketing campaign to support next week’s launch of the HTC EVO 3D through Telstra.

This campaign will run in Westfield shopping centres in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, with HTC using this presence to promote the glass-free 3D display and functionality.

Features of the EVO 3D include a 4.3-inch 3D qHD (540×960) LCD display, dual-core 1.2Ghz processor and Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) operating system.

It also has dual 5-megapixel rear cameras for capturing 3D images and video, a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, and DLNA and HDMI connectivity.

Telstra will begin selling the HTC EVO 3D next Tuesday (20 September 2011). For consumers, the handset will be available on Telstra’s Freedom Connect plans, including $59 plus $23 per month (under the MRO Bonus plan) for a total minimum spend of $1,968 over 24 months. There’s also a range of Business plans for the EVO 3D.

The HTC Tour will be at Westfield Sydney from today through Sunday 18 September 2011. From there it will visit Westfield Bondi Junction (19-23 September 2011). Running concurrently will be activities at Westfield Doncaster in Victoria (12-18 September 2011). Finally, Westfield Chermside in Brisbane will be experienced 23-28 September 2011.
