MELBOURNE, VIC: The Smeg stand at DesignEx is formidable, and not just for its size and on-site cafe. Unlike some of its rivals at this showpiece event for the specifier, design and architect market (SDA), Smeg has used DesignEx to launch its new Marc Newson range of appliances. This new range of cookware, including ovens and gas and induction cooktops, will join the Linear and Classic styles in the Smeg range.

Pyrolitic ovens in the Newson range are RRP $3,090, while non-pyro models are RRP $2,690. Colours include green, yellow, blue, stainless steel, black and white.
