Canberra has posted a strong September price rise and annual growth much higher than the previous year, according to the Corelogic Hedonic Home Value Index. Canberra house prices rose 2.4% for September beating Melbourne at 2.3% and Sydney at 0.8%.
Winning Appliances is scheduled to open its first ACT showroom in November and the company is eager to serve the population in Canberra. Canberra posted the same year-on-year house price growth as Melbourne and Sydney of 9%. This time last year Canberra posted only 0.6% year-on-year growth, while both Sydney and Melbourne recorded growth of 16.7% and 14.2%.
