The Winning Group is looking for someone to take the top job at Winning Appliances after it was announced today that David Crane, the current CEO of Winning Appliances, has decided to leave the business to return home to America to be with his family.

There is no immediate date for Crane’s departure, who joined Winning Appliances in 2012 from Texas where he was vice president of international sales and business development for the furniture company La-Z-Boy.

Winning Group CEO John Winning thanked Crane for his service to the business.

“David first joined Winning Appliances in October 2012 and has played an important role rebranding the century-old retailer and expanding the business into Western Australia,” Winning said. “We would like to thank him for his contribution to ensuring that Winning Appliances has remained Australia’s premier appliance specialist and for helping the business to grow.

“There is no immediate date for David’s departure as he prepares to move back to America. We are actively looking both here in Australia and overseas for his replacement. We wish David and his family all the very best for their future.”

Crane wished the Winning Appliances team well for the future. “It’s with great sadness that I will be leaving Winning Appliances,” he said. “It truly is a great family business that upholds strong company values and an unparalleled dedication to providing exceptional customer service. As I approach a new stage in my life with my family back home in America, I would like to thank everyone at Winning Appliances for their support and wish them all the best.”
